If there was only one place to visit in Iceland, it would be Jokulsarlon. No word is strong enough to describe the beauty of this place, unforgettable. The lagoon was created as Vatnajokull moved back.
The glacier stills calves icebergs, which fall to pieces before drifting slowly to the sea. As in Kvisker, the only noise you can hear is ice blocks breaking and falling into water. At the end of the day, seals and seagulls come fishing.
Before swimming back to the sea, seals usually have a glance at tourists on the borders. These last persons wait for the best moment to take THE shot : sunset on Jokulsarlon.
